CLIQUE
Conditional dependencies in household antimicrobial resistance. Explores spatial variable selection in mixed graphical models using household stool samples from 162 households in the uMgungundlovu District, KwaZulu-Natal, to show how antimicrobial resistance markers relate to water, sanitation, hygiene and antibiotic-use factors.
Wastewater surveillance
GeoWasteTracker
A spatial wastewater-based epidemiology dashboard for the Olifantsfontein and Vlakplaats catchments in Ekurhuleni. It combines real ERWAT pathogen measurements with a simulated sub-place dataset to demonstrate a full spatial-statistical workflow: choropleth maps, Global and Local Moran’s I (LISA) cluster detection, and temporal trends.

Wastewater-based surveillance of COVID-19 in Ekurhuleni. Shows how cases for 470 small areas (sub-places) can be estimated from wastewater measured at eight treatment plants, bridging spatially misaligned data and highlighting hot spots.
